A Gerdau (GGBR4) revised its projections for strategic CAPEX and potential annual EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) per project, as presented at Investor Day 2024.
For CAPEX, the company estimates that strategic investments total R$9.2 billion. Of this amount, R$3.4 billion has already been invested and R$5.8 billion is projected for the coming years, until 2027.

Regarding Ebitda, the expectation is that investments not yet completed, after maturity, have the potential to generate an annual return of R$2.8 billion.
The projection updates reflect the new vision that disregards already completed projects, the inclusion of downstream projects in North America and the readjustment of forestry investments due to the hibernations of Barão de Cocais and Sete Lagoas (Rota Bio).
The other estimates remain unchanged, says Gerdau.
