A Embraer (EMBR3) announced on Monday (24) the expansion of its maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services network with the aim of supporting the E-Jets fleet in the United States. The company promises to open a new service center at Perot Field Alliance Airport in Fort Worth, Texas.
In partnership with the city of Fort Worth, Denton County and the State of Texas, Embraer expects to begin operations in the first quarter of 2025 in an existing hangar. A second hangar will be built later, with completion expected in 2027, the company said.
“This expansion will significantly increase the capacity, capabilities and coverage of our service network, providing service excellence to our customers and the growing E-Jets fleet in North America. Furthermore, the expansion is part of Embraer’s growth strategy in the United States,” said Carlos Naufel, President and CEO, Embraer Services & Support.
The new Fort Worth service center is expected to be part of Embraer’s global service network, which includes 80 authorized centers and 12 company-owned centers worldwide. The city of Fort Worth was selected as a finalist for the project, which is subject to approval of proposed incentives by local government authorities.
