The president of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), minister Carmen Luciasaid this Sunday (6) that the elections remain calm and there is no significant occurrence. According to her, to date, 0.3% of ballot boxes have needed to be replaced.
“Voters are going to the polls in Brazil in full since 8 am, Brasília time. We have a very significant number of presence, we have practically no changes even to the ballot box, which is a normal situation, 0.3% of ballot boxes replaced by other ballot boxes”, he stated, in a press conference at the Electoral Disclosure Center, in TSE.
The minister reported that the fear that voters in the Northern Region would have difficulty reaching the polls, due to dry rivers, was not confirmed.
“What we feared, especially in the North, due to the lack of roads, has not been confirmed. We managed to get voters to show up,” he said.

The Ministry of Justice and Public Security announced the arrest of 68 voters and the seizure of 12 weapons, also until 1 pm this Sunday. Police forces also arrested 5 candidates. In total, 274 incidents were recorded.
