A Federal Revenue releases next Monday (30) the payment of the 5th batch of the Refund Income Tax 2024.
Although it is the last batch, payments do not end there: the residual batches, intended for those who fell into the fine mesh and regularized the situation, begin to be paid at the end of October.

Income Tax Refund: who is entitled?
The priority order of payments underwent changes this year, aiming to include taxpayers in the Rio Grande do Sulaffected by floods. Therefore, the order of priority is:
- Elderly people aged 80 years or over;
- Elderly people aged between 60 and 79 years;
- taxpayers with physical or mental disabilities, or those with a serious illness;
- People whose biggest source of income is teaching;
- Taxpayers from Rio Grande do Sul;
- Taxpayers who used the pre-filled model and/or chose to receive the refund via Pix;
- Other contributors.
According to the Revenue, the refund payment order follows the criteria for sending the document, according to the priority groups. In other words, whoever delivers first will be the first to receive.
It is worth highlighting the importance of monitoring batch payments, to be aware of your situation with the Tax Authorities — this being a way of finding and adjusting possible incorrect data in the declared income tax.
How to check the value?
The taxpayer must access the Revenueclick “My Income Tax” and then “Consult the Refund”.
You will need to provide your CPF and date of birth. If there is any pending issue in the declaration, the taxpayer can rectify it, correcting information.
Another possibility is to carry out the consultation via the application (available for tablets and smartphones), where in addition to consulting the release of refunds, it is also possible to check the status of the CPF.
On the next screen, you will have access to all the information on the declaration and the amount calculated for the refund.

Wrong information
One of the main reasons that lead taxpayers straight into the fine mesh is the mismatch of information. In this case, you must enter the IR declaration program and correct the incorrect information.
The IRS itself indicates where the problem lies within the declaration.
Information correct, but statement is withheld
If the information is correct and the declaration is still stuck, the taxpayer must schedule a visit to the Federal Revenue Service. During the visit, it will be necessary to present all proof used in the declaration.
