A Federal Revenue will release tax collection data for the month of August this Friday (20). In addition, abroad, today's agenda includes the release of various economic data.
According to projections of the BTG PactualFederal Tax Revenue for the month of August will total R$206.1 billion. The amount is equivalent to an annual growth of 14.4%, accelerating in relation to the 9.5% recorded in July.
“Taxes related to the labor market should grow 9.5% y/y (vs. 6.0% y/y in July), controlling for inflation,” he said.
On the other hand, the bank highlighted that taxes linked to corporate profits are expected to weaken in the month, growing by just 0.9%.
