A Americans (AMER3), which is currently in judicial recoveryl, announced this Thursday (3) that Renato Drumond will assume the role of vice-president of Digital Retail.
Drummond, who has more than 30 years of experience in retail and digital, and was previously part of the Americanas team where he began his career as a Trainee, also having experience as a store manager, regional manager and marketing director, will be responsible for digitization of customers and marketplace.
In recent years, he actively participated in the construction of PontoFrio.com, NovaPontoCom and Cobasi's O2O (online-to-offline). “His robust retail and digital experience will be key to driving Americanas’ e-commerce platform,” the company said in a statement.
Americanas (AMER3): other executives reinforced the team
At the beginning of September, the company hired Fernando Dias Soares as its new vice president of operations.
Soares will have the challenge of optimizing processes and generating synergies in the areas of logistics, real estate, store operations and loss prevention, working closely with the commercial team.
The executive made a career in Ambev (ABEV3), where he was president of the non-alcoholic beverages division and led business units in Colombia, Peru and Mexico.
In 2020, he assumed the position of CEO of Domino's Pizza, where he led the company's digital transformation and strategic restructuring.
It is worth remembering that Ambev belongs to the same controlling group as Americanas, 3G Capitalby Jorge Paulo Lemann, Marcel Herrmann Telles and Carlos Alberto Sicupira.
